Medical music
The Northwestern Medical Orchestra presents its summer wind band concert, featuring fanfares, marches, classics and music from “Wicked.”
The concert begins at 7 p.m. on Friday, July 12, in Thorne Auditorium 375 E. Chicago Ave. Register to attend in-person or watch via livestream.

Dive into the finer points of prose alongside writers from around the globe during the Summer Writers’ Conference. Deepen your understanding of the craft and business of writing with instruction from award-winning authors.

Solutions summit
Close out July by joining the Medill Midwest Solutions Journalism Hub for its summer summit. The all-day event will include keynotes, hands-on workshops, lightning talks and breakout sessions.
