As a part of a major milestone of medical school, graduating students learn of their residency match
CHICAGO --- The Match Day drama for graduating medical students from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine begins at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 18, when students will receive the envelopes that reveal where they’ll spend several years of residency training.
Match Day is held annually at 125 medical schools around the country to announce the results of the National Residents Matching Program. It’s when fourth-year medical students gather to find out the location of their residency training.
