Four-time Pulitzer Prize winner David Barstow to visit Northwestern Oct. 2

Medill alum to discuss the state of investigative journalism

Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, Integrated Marketing, Communications invites members of the media to attend a conversation with Northwestern alumnus and four-time Pulitzer Prize winner David Barstow.

Barstow, a senior writer at The New York Times, this spring became the first journalist to win a fourth Pulitzer in a reporting category for his work exploring President Trump’s financial background. He also won Pulitzers in 2013, 2009 and 2004. He has won Pulitzers for explanatory reporting, investigative reporting and public service.

At the event, Barstow will discuss the state of investigative journalism with Medill Associate Professor and Director of Investigative Reporting Debbie Cenziper.

This event will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Oct. 2 at McCormick Foundation Center, Forum, 1870 Campus Drive, Evanston, IL 60208. It is open to members of the media and to the public.
