Career

Stephanie Boron is a speech-language pathologist, assistant clinical professor at Northwestern University’s Center for Audiology, Speech, Language, and Learning, and a recognized thought leader in neurodiversity-affirming, child-led care. She specializes in creating safe, accessible, and inclusive spaces that support autonomy and authentic communication for all individuals.

As an autistic clinician and advocate, Boron is at the forefront of rethinking traditional speech-language pathology practices to better serve neurodivergent communities. She amplifies neurodivergent perspectives and fosters critical conversations on disability rights through her platform, @BeMeSpeech. A passionate mentor, she is dedicated to training the next generation of clinicians to center lived experience, advance inclusive practices, and drive systemic change in education and healthcare.
