Career

Brown is a scholar and practitioner who provides educational experiences and consulting services to equip leaders and organizations to support and advance diversity, equity, and inclusion in their organizations. In addition to his work at Northwestern, Ahmmad is a principal advisor at the consultancy Working IDEAL. He previously was the president and co-founder of EBDI, a diversity, equity, and inclusion consultancy that worked primarily with social sector organizations and leaders. His scholarship has appeared in the Journal of Student Affairs Research and Practice and Organization Development Review, and his award-winning teaching materials have been published by the William Davidson Institute at the University of Michigan.
