Career

Sean Sinclair is an assistant professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences at Northwestern University. He earned his Ph.D. from Cornell University and previously held a postdoctoral position at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His research develops data-driven algorithms for decision-making under uncertainty, with applications in operations and real-world systems. Before graduate school, he served in the Peace Corps teaching mathematics and science in rural Ghana.
