For the past week, Northwestern has hosted receptions, picnics, ceremonies and other festivities to celebrate the Class of 2024 with grads, their friends and families. This year was extra special for many students because it marked their first in-person graduation after COVID-19 derailed countless high school ceremonies four years ago.

Among the highlights of Graduation Week 2024 were Commencement at the United Center with speaker Kathryn Hahn ’95, Baccalaureate, smaller events like Lavender Graduation, APIDA Senior Send OFF and The JOY: NU’s Black Congratulatory, as well as March Back Through the Arch and a fireworks display over Lake Michigan on Sunday evening.

Northwestern sent several photographers out to cover it all, resulting in an impressive array of Purple Pride moments.
