Northwestern students representing Associated Student Government met with members of Walsh Construction, University Police, Facilities Management and the Evanston Fire Department May 7 during a presentation to mark Safety Week 2015. The group discussed ongoing campus construction projects and how to stay safe when walking, biking and driving near work sites. Safety Week, sponsored in part by Walsh, is an opportunity to raise awareness of dangers in the construction industry and how everyone from workers to pedestrians can help curb accidents.
