Norris University Center celebrated the official grand opening of its new Frontera Fresco location yesterday with acclaimed Chicago chef Rick Bayless in attendance to cutting the ribbon. The Norris location -- which has been serving up tacos, tortas and other locally sourced dishes since November -- is the first and only Bayless restaurant on a college campus.
"Knowing Northwestern, and knowing what an amazing institution it is, we thought this would be a perfect place for us to get our toes in the water of working on college campuses," Bayless said. "It's a privilege for us to be here and to enjoy sharing all of this with all of you."
