AMTP’s new musical “The Verona Project” opens 2012-13 TIC Mainstage Season Oct. 19

EVANSTON, Ill. ---  “The Verona Project,” award-winning writer and director Amanda Dehnert’s new indie-folk-rock musical, will launch the Theatre and Interpretation Center’s (TIC) 2012-13 Mainstage season at Northwestern University, Oct. 19 to Nov. 4, at the Josephine Louis Theater. Presented by the American Music Theatre Project (AMTP) in association with TIC, it is a modern fable inspired by Shakespeare’s first comedy “The Two Gentlemen of Verona.”

Barber Theater and “Frankenstein,” directed by Oscar-winner Danny Boyle (“127 Hours,” “Slumdog Millionaire”) 7 and 10:30 p.m. Oct. 30, at the Louis Theater.
