Career

Sterling Elliott's area of practice is concentrated in pharmacy related to surgery and procedures. He is an active teacher of pharmacy students and research collaborator with surgeons and researchers in Feinberg's departments of orthopaedic surgery and general surgery. His research focuses on multiple aspects of the impact of a novel, functionality-based approach to post-operative pain management.

Sterling has been featured as faculty for pharmacy continuing education. In addition, he has been featured as an expert guest on the impact of opioid misuse, addiction and overdose death in several Chicago media outlets. He also serves as Northwestern Memorial Hospital's site leader and spokesman for its participation as a host of National Prescription Drug Takeback Days in several Chicago and national media outlets.
