Career
McHugh is a researcher, educator and evaluator. She directs Northwestern's research program in Manufacturing and Health. Prior to joining Northwestern University, McHugh was Director of Research at the Health Research & Educational Trust of the American Hospital Association, and Senior Program Officer at the Institute of Medicine (now National Academy of Medicine).
