Career
O'Leary is the founding Director of the Northwestern Medicine Academy for Quality and Safety Improvement (NM AQSI), a professional development program to train leaders in quality improvement. AQSI received the Leape Ahead Award in 2015 and the John M. Eisenberg Award for Innovation in Patient Safety and Quality in 2020. O'Leary also is deputy editor of the Joint Commission Journal on Quality and Patient Safety.
