During Homecoming and Reunion Weekend, members of the Northwestern community came together at Alice Millar Chapel for the dedication of a memorial for the six alumni killed in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

The Oct. 9 ceremony included remarks from University Historian Kevin Leonard ’77, ’82 MA, as well as Keating Crown ’11 JD, MBA, a Sept. 11 survivor and founding trustee of the 9/11 Memorial & Museum Board.

The project was spearheaded by Sara Ader ’91 and Inci Ulgur ’91, who were classmates of Melissa C. Doi, one of the alumni honored by the memorial.
