Evanston Fire Department training on campus

Northwestern will host the City of Evanston Fire Department Tuesday, May 9, through Thursday, May 11, for training on the north end of the Evanston campus. The three days of training will help ensure operational readiness and strengthen the partnership among local first responders in case of emergency.

Activity will occur each day between 8:30 a.m. and noon, causing a temporary sidewalk closure between the Frances Searle building and Mudd Hall during training hours.

While Campus Drive and all building entrances will remain open, campus community members should expect fire department vehicles and activities in the area, including signage and barricades employed for community safety.
