Events for faculty and staff feature President Michael Schill

Northwestern faculty and staff will have several opportunities in the near future to take part in conversations with President Michael Schill.

Fall faculty webinar

At noon Wednesday, Nov. 9, President Schill will join the Office of the Provost’s fall faculty webinar, hosted by Provost Kathleen Hagerty. The two will engage in a one-on-one, faculty-focused conversation about the president’s personal journey, his initial impressions of Northwestern and his thoughts about the future. 

While there is still time to register online, a recording of the session also will be posted to the Office of the Provost news site by Nov. 10. 

Staff experience discussions

At 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 30, and Thursday, Dec. 1, Lorraine Goffe, vice president for Human Resources and chief human resources officer, will discuss with President Schill the Northwestern staff experience. 

The Evanston campus event on Nov. 30 will take place in White Auditorium at the Kellogg Global Hub. And the Chicago event on Dec. 1 will be in Thorne Auditorium at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law.

Staff are encouraged to register by Wednesday, Nov. 16, so that organizers can plan the space appropriately. A form has been created to register and submit questions.

After the discussions, there will be time to mingle with the president and colleagues over refreshments.
