Supreme Court made the ‘right decision’ on challenge to Affordable Care Act

Quote from Professor Garthwaite
“In today's Supreme Court challenge to the Affordable Care Act, the Supreme Court made the right decision. The Court was correct in upholding the ACA and the decision should not have been as hard as the case made it seem.”
Andrew Koppelman, the John Paul Stevens Professor of Law at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, is a constitutional law professor and the author of “The Tough Luck Constitution and the Assault on Health Care Reform” (Oxford University Press, 2013) and “Defending American Religious Neutrality” (Harvard University Press, 2013). Quote from Professor Koppelman
“The challenges to Obamacare were always silly, but this one was the silliest of the bunch, claiming that a penalty of zero was an intolerable burden. It is a scandal that two justices were willing to take it seriously.”
