COVID-19: Northwestern University arts programming cancellations
Updated with postponed Wirtz Center events and cancelled Bienen concerts
To ensure the health and safety of the Northwestern University community and its valued patrons in response to the growing coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, the following arts programs have been cancelled:
Bienen School of Musichas cancelled all concerts and events from March 13 to April 27. Patrons with tickets to an event during this period will be issued a refund and no further action needs to be taken.
Wirtz Center for the Performing Arts has postponed all March and April National Theatre Live screenings until June. Ticket holders will be rescheduled by the box office.
The Block Museum and Block Cinema has cancelled or postponed public events until April 27. The exhibition galleries are also closed to the public.
