Committee to search for new dean and CEO of Northwestern University in Qatar

Northwestern community invited to share feedback, submit questions, recommend candidates

Northwestern University has launched a global search for the next dean and CEO of Northwestern University in Qatar (NU-Q) and appointed a committee to conduct the search, Provost Jonathan Holloway announced today (May 15).

A search committee — including faculty, student and staff representatives — is undertaking the search for a successor to NU-Q Dean and CEO Everette E. Dennis, who is concluding his service at NU-Q. The committee has engaged Witt/Kieffer as the executive search firm.

Members of the Northwestern community are invited to share feedback, submit questions and recommend candidates by contacting the search committee at  NUQdeansearch@northwestern.edu

Dean Dennis announced last month that he will move on from his role as the head of NU-Q in 2020 after serving nearly a decade leading Northwestern’s 12th school to new academic achievements and greater global influence.
