EVANSTON - Former Vice President Joe Biden’s speech Friday at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management will be webcast live for those who cannot attend the address about unequal economic growth across America's cities and towns.

The speech will take place from 5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. at the Kellogg Global Hub, 2211 Campus Drive, Evanston. The event is invitation-only for Kellogg faculty, students and staff, and it is already full.

However, the Northwestern community and the general public are invited to view the livestream of the former vice president’s remarks here.

Members of the media interested in attending should request press credentials from Marni Futterman at 847-491-5446 or m-futterman@kellogg.northwestern.edu.

Since leaving office, Biden has continued working on the issues and causes that have animated his career with the creation of the Biden Foundation, the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement at the University of Pennsylvania, the Biden Cancer Initiative and the Biden Institute at the University of Delaware.

Biden's work with the Biden Foundation has focused on advancing education, ending violence against women, ensuring LGBTQ equality, protecting children, shaping foreign policy, strengthening the middle class and supporting military families.

The event was coordinated with the help of Kellogg visiting associate professor Ben Harris, who served as Biden’s chief economist and economic adviser during his time as President Barack Obama’s vice president.
