The first "Northwestern Night" at the Art Institute of Chicago marked a new partnership between the two institutions. Students, faculty and staff gathered Jan. 23 at the museum for lectures, tours and contemplative browsing.
Through the partnership, undergraduate students receive free admission to the museum, and they have access to all special exhibitions, lectures and programs. The partnership is made possible by a donation from Shirley Welsh Ryan (Weinberg '61), a member of the Art Institute's board of trustees and wife of Chicago businessman Patrick Ryan (Kellogg '59).
