Career

Ozdinler is one of the recipients of Harvard Center for Neurodegeneration and Repair (HCNR) and NUCATS Translational Innovation Awards. She is the founding director of the second Les Turner ALS Laboratory at Northwestern, which was the first Upper Motor Neuron Lab in the United States. She is a faculty member of Les Turner ALS Center, Mesulam Alzheimer’s Disease Center and Chemistry of Life Processes Institute at Northwestern.

Ozdinler was elected to be one of the most influential Turkish American Women in the U.S. and received recognition from President Barack Obama. Her research is supported by NIH, NIA, Department of Defense and numerous foundations. Ozdinler is also a painter, inventor of OzdinART(TM), co-founder of Art Loves Science Foundation and an international press member.
