Join the journey

Let’s go ’Cats

Cheer on field hockey as the team looks to extend their 10-game victory streak with their match versus Rutgers this Friday.

The game is at 3 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4, at Lakeside Field, 2311 N. Campus Drive

Tales of tradition

New York City has always been a gathering and trading place for many Indigenous peoples. In “Tipi Tales from the Stoop,” Murielle Borst-Tarrant tells the story of growing up in the only Native family on her block in a mafia-run Brooklyn neighborhood and how her family kept tradition alive.

Performances of “Tipi Tales from the Stoop” are on Friday, Oct. 4, at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 5 at 2 p.m. at Wirtz Theater in Abbott Hall, 710 N. Lake Shore Drive, Chicago. Buy tickets here.

Find your wheels

Norris Mini Courses is once again partnering with The Recyclery to bring you a used bike sale. Find an affordable ride that will help you get from Tech to the Arch — or wherever you need to go — in a flash.

The sale starts at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 7, at the Block Plaza, 40 Arts Circle Drive, Evanston.
