President Michael H. Schill was inaugurated June 2 as the 17th president in Northwestern’s 172-year history. Students, faculty, staff, alumni, trustees and friends from all over participated in the occasion.

Held at Ryan Fieldhouse’s Wilson Field on the Evanston campus, the ceremony was a true show of Purple Pride, marked by gift giving, song, school spirit and even a laugh or two along the way.
