We’re Out Walking is a free 12-week health and fitness program to motivate people of all ages and fitness levels to get moving and eat better.

Spring is a perfect time to renew your commitment to better health habits. And now, after a three-year hiatus due to COVID-19, the Evanston Health and Human Services Department is relaunching the We’re Out Walking (WOW) program.

All members of the community, including Northwestern students, faculty and staff, are invited to participate in this free 12-week health and fitness program built to motivate individuals of all ages and fitness levels to get moving and eat better.

A kickoff event is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, April 22, in the main auditorium of Evanston Township High School. The event will feature local fitness vendors, motivational speakers, demonstrations and free t-shirts.
