Last spring, Northwestern University teamed up with virtual health and well-being service provider TimelyMD to launch a new option for mental health support through the TimelyCare platform.

Available free of charge to any Northwestern student with an active NetID, TimelyCare provides a variety of resources, including Scheduled Counseling, the 24/7 TalkNow on-demand service, Health Coaching and Group Sessions. TimelyCare’s Scheduled Counseling and Health Coaching appointments are available days, evenings and weekends, and TalkNow services are available all day, every day.

TimelyCare enables the University to provide a hybrid model of care  and expands the options available to students seeking mental health resources anytime and from anywhere.

Students continue to have access to Northwestern’s in-person and virtual confidential services, including CAPS, HPaW, CARE, Religious and Spiritual Life and Student Assistance and Support Services. Students are encouraged to reach out to the support service that is right for them.
