Conversations with the President set for April 13

Members of the Northwestern community are invited to participate in this year’s Conversations with the President for a discussion about the current state of the University and future plans.

The event, Tuesday, April 13, at 10 a.m., is hosted by the Northwestern University Staff Advisory Council (NUSAC) in partnership with the Office of the President.

While the format for this event will be remote, as it was in 2020, organizers are looking forward to a meaningful discussion with President Morton Schapiro and a panel of senior leaders.

“This year has been a time of change, and we have adapted to a new normal and shown incredible resiliency,” said NUSAC Chair Nate Daigle. “We look forward to coming together to share a conversation with our leaders on topics that mean the most to us.”

After his opening remarks, President Schapiro will be joined by Provost Kathleen Hagerty, Senior Vice President for Business and Finance Craig Johnson and Associate Provost for Diversity and Inclusion Robin Means Coleman for a Q&A session.

NUSAC gathered questions from Northwestern staff ahead of the event. Members of the community also are encouraged to submit questions during the event via email at nusac@northwestern.edu.

Participants are not required to RSVP for the event. A livestream will become available a few minutes before the event begins at the Office of the President website.
