Delegates will explore how universities should prepare students amid a global pandemic.

Attention students. Are you curious, creative and action-oriented? Are you eager to connect with other students from across the globe? If so, apply now to be a Northwestern Student Delegate to the U7+ Worldwide Student Forum.

Northwestern will host the inaugural U7+ Worldwide Student Forum online between June 12 and July 1 in order to spark discussion among students from more than 50 U7+ Alliance universities representing 20 countries.

Apply now: Student Delegate applications are due Monday, June 1.

Delegates will explore the question of how universities should prepare students for life after graduation amid the global COVID-19 pandemic.

The U7+ Alliance of World Universities is the first alliance of university presidents aimed at defining concrete actions universities can take to collectively address global challenges in coordination with government leaders in G7 countries and beyond.

The inaugural summit, held last year in France, included 47 universities representing 20 countries and more than 2 million students.

This year’s Worldwide Student Forum will inform the agenda for the 2020 U7+ Summit that Northwestern will host at its Chicago and Evanston campuses this fall in partnership with U.S. co-sponsoring institutions, Georgetown University, Columbia University and the University of California, Berkeley.

Participants in the Worldwide Student Forum will engage in small live group conversations and contribute to private LinkedIn group discussion boards.

Student Delegate applications are due Monday, June 1, by 11:59 p.m. CDT.
