Expanded campus transportation during cold

Northwestern University officially re-opened at noon today, but cold temperatures remain. Students, staff and faculty are encouraged to continue to take precautions to ensure they reach their destinations safely. Dress warmly and utilize the University’s expanded transportation services. While walking on campus, stop in any campus building to warm up for a few minutes before continuing.

Shuttle services

The Frostbite shuttles, the Evanston Loop, and Campus Loop will continue to operate. Students can use TransLoc to receive shuttle arrival alerts and to track shuttles in real time.

In addition, students who live off campus in Evanston who need a ride to or from class can call the Northwestern University Police Department’s Dispatch Center at 847-491-3254, which can arrange transportation. This service is provided by NUPD’s community service officers, and is contingent on their availability.
