The honorable Luis Maira, the former Chilean ambassador to Argentina, will discuss his role in the Havana Peace Talks at an upcoming lecture in Spanish at Northwestern University.
The event, titled La Paz en Colombia y su Impacto en América Latina, will take place at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 25 in the Segal Visitors Center auditorium, 1841 Sheridan Road in Evanston. It is open to the public as well as the Northwestern community.
This lecture is presented by the Latin American and Caribbean Studies Program, the Buffett Institute for Global Studies and the International Studies Program. A reception will follow.
