Five named to endowed professorships

EVANSTON - The Northwestern University Board of Trustees has appointed five faculty members to named professorships.

The faculty members and their appointments are: 

Matthew Davis

Matthew Davis, professor in the department of pediatrics and division head of academic general pediatrics and primary care, has been appointed to the A. Todd Davis, MD Professorship in General Academic Pediatrics.

Amani Fawzi

Amani Fawzi, associate professor in the department of ophthalmology, has been appointed to the Cyrus Tang and Lee Jampol Professorship in ophthalmology.

Debra Goldstein

Debra Goldstein, professor in the department of ophthalmology, has been appointed to the Ernest J. and Hattie H. Magerstadt Memorial Professorship in Ophthalmology.

Elad Harel

Elad Harel, assistant professor of chemistry, has been appointed to the Irving M. Klotz Research Professorship in Chemistry.

Peter Penzes

Peter Penzes, professor in the departments of physiology and psychiatry and behavioral sciences, has been appointed to the Ruth and Evelyn Dunbar Professorship of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.
