Students share move-in day experiences

First-year students and their families swarmed the sun-soaked Northwestern University campus for move-in day 2016, launching a week of activities for Wildcat Welcome week that came to a close Monday.
 
We spoke with three freshmen, a wise sophomore and a junior peer advisor during the day of heavy lifting, new roommates and parental goodbyes on Sept. 12. 
 
Two of the first-years interviewed are from the nearby suburbs: Dana Pepowski is from Lake Forest and Angelica Garcia from Lyons. Drew Pomerantz hails from Kansas City.
