Northwestern Launches Cognitive Fitness Program

Six-week program to offer activities to promote brain-wellness

EVANSTON, Ill. --- Brain wellness activities, compensatory strategies and skill-building exercises are highlights of a new six-week Cognitive Fitness Program offered by Northwestern University’s Speech, Language, and Learning Clinic beginning October 9th on the Evanston campus.

The Cognitive Fitness Program is designed both for individuals with memory or cognitive difficulties as well as those seeking to maintain and enhance skills. Participants are placed into one of two groups based on a cognitive screening conducted before registration.

The program is held on Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m.- 4:30 p.m. The cost of the program is $220 and is offered in fall, winter and spring quarters.
