Redevelopment of Norris University Center’s East Lawn to begin this summer

WASHINGTON --- Al Jazeera America, a new U.S. television network operated by the Qatar-based news outlet, has announced that Northwestern University alumna Joie Chen (J82, GJ83) will serve as the host of the network’s prime time news magazine show “America Tonight” beginning when the network launches on Aug. 20.
The Emmy Award-winning Chen previously worked at both CNN and CBS and as a media strategist before receiving her appointment with Al Jazeera America.
