Conversations With the President

Meetings open to students, faculty and staff set for April 10 and 12
EVANSTON, Ill. --- All Northwestern University students, faculty and staff are invited to two “Conversations with the President” this month in which President Morton Schapiro will discuss key issues facing the University.

On the Chicago campus, the Conversation will be held at 1:30 p.m. April 10 in Hughes Auditorium in the Robert H. Lurie Medical Research Center. On the Evanston campus, the event will be held at 10 a.m. April 12 in the McCormick Tribune Building Forum.

The forums, which are sponsored by the Northwestern University Staff Advisory Council (NUSAC) and the Office of the President, will be webcast live.

This year’s events will feature remarks by President Schapiro followed by a question-and-answer session.

“We know that staff members enjoy the opportunity to hear directly from the president and raise questions about topics that are of interest to them,” said Timothy Gordon, chair of NUSAC. “We hope that people will take advantage of this opportunity and engage in conversation with the president.”

For persons who are unable to attend, questions for President Schapiro may be submitted in advance by emailing them to nusac@northwestern.edu.

Administrative leaders are asked to allow staff members in their area to attend one of the events.
