EVANSTON, Ill. --- Northwestern University romantic relationship and attraction expert Eli Finkel will host a pre-Valentine’s Day Q&A session on Twitter, offering each response within the 140-character limit of the popular social network.
The session will take place from 1 to 2 p.m. CST Friday, Feb. 13, and is open to Northwestern students, faculty, staff and the general public.
In addition to posing questions during the live Q&A, participants can submit questions in advance by using #askfinkel.
Finkel, a professor of psychology in the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences and a professor of management and organizations at the Kellogg School of Management, will address a variety of topics. They include:
- Online dating
- How to improve your marriage
- How to support your partner’s goals
- Two pathways to a strong marriage -- the good and the great
- The aftermath of a breakup
The Q&A is sponsored by Northwestern’s Office of Global Marketing and the Department of University Relations. It is the first of a series of social media conversations with members of the University’s diverse and talented community.
