Inauguration day: history, political science and law professors available to comment

‘President Biden will need to rely on both his deep reservoir of experiences and new ideas,’ expert says

The inauguration of Joseph R. Biden as the 46th President of the United States on Jan. 20 will occur just two weeks after the violent siege on the Capitol by pro-Trump supporters protesting ratification of the electoral vote.

Northwestern University experts in law, politics, history and communication are available to comment on the significance of the day, as well as the challenges the incoming administration will need to address during a period of historical social unrest, political division and a public health and economic crisis.
