Career

An active member of Actors Equity Association and Screen Actors Guild, Gold has acted off-Broadway in New York and regionally. She performs frequently in Shakespeare festivals and is a member of several professional improvisation groups, most notably Mental Floss in Miami and the Next Move in Boston. Television work includes the TNT series "Leverage," and she has appeared on "Miami Vice" and "The Guiding Light." She has directed plays nationwide including the Northwestern University world premiere of Joyce Carol Oates' "The Passion of Henry David Thoreau."

Recent honors include the Clarence Simon Award for Teaching and Mentoring (2011) and a Joseph Jefferson Best Actress  Award (2006).
