  • Conducts life-cycle analysis to evaluate the energy and environmental impacts of emerging technologies, including biofuels and bioproducts, automotive lithium-ion batteries, fuels and chemicals made from waste gaseous carbon and natural gas liquids
  • Works to understand emerging technologies’ potential to contribute to air/water pollution and greenhouse gas emissions
  • Uses remote sensing, computer vision and economic models to characterize land use and land use change
